Dipped Bugles

These are my new favorite holiday treat.  Of course who can resist another recipe with peanut butter and chocolate!!

1 (7.5 oz) bag of Bugles
1 pkg. chocolate almond bark
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2+ Tbsp of milk

In a large bowl combine your peanut butter and powdered sugar. Add milk 1 Tbsp at a time, beating until  smooth.  Scoop a small amount of the mixture into each Bugle. Melt your chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute, stir and repeat for 30 seconds until melted. Dip the peanut butter end of the Bugle into the melted chocolate and set on a wax paper lined baking sheet.  When all are dipped put in freezer until set and ready to eat.  **Best when eaten the same day made, or store in covered container in refrigerator.

Peanut Butter Oreo Dessert

This is a great recipe to use up some of those leftover Halloween candy bars.  It has it all...peanut butter, Oreos, and Reese's peanut butter cups.  Who could ask for anything more!!

20 Oreos cookies, divided
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, divided
1 carton (16 ounces) Cool Whip, thawed, divided
6 Reese's peanut butter cups, chopped
1 cup cold milk
1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate fudge pudding mix

Crush 16 cookies; toss with the butter. Press into an ungreased 9-in. square dish; set aside.  In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter and 1 cup powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with peanut butter cups.  In another large bowl, beat the milk, pudding mix and remaining powdered sugar on low speed for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Fold in remaining whipped topping. Spread over peanut butter cups. Crush remaining cookies; sprinkle over the top. Cover and chill for 1 hour before serving.

Hawaiian Sweet Roll Sandwiches

I found this recipe while browsing Pinterest on the internet.  If you haven't discovered this site you have to check it out!!  I made them for a girl's night earlier this week and they were a hit.

1 pkg. of 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
1 onion (or 1 tsp onion powder)
1 stick of butter
3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. poppy seeds
1/2 lb. shaved ham
8 slices of Swiss cheese

Melt butter in microwave.  Add onion (or onion powder), mustard, Worcestershire, and seeds.  Mix thoroughly and set aside.  Slice rolls in half and place bottoms in an aluminum foil lined 9x13 pan.  Spread 3/4 of butter mixture on rolls, followed by ham and cheese.  Top with the roll tops.  Spread remaining butter mixture over tops of sandwiches.  Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
