Oven French Toast

Looking for any easy way to make French toast.  Try this out!!  My family gobbled it up and I didn't spend a ton of time in the kitchen.

3 large eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla (or almond extract)
1/8 tsp. salt
8 slices sandwich bread

Heat oven to 500 degrees.  In 2 qt. casserole dish (easiest for dipping bread), mix eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt with wire whisk until well mixed.  Generously butter 15x10x1-inch pan.  Heat pan in oven 1 minute; remove from oven.  Dip bread in egg mixture and arrange on pan.  Drizzle any remaining mixture over bread.  Bake 5 to 8 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown; flip bread.  Bake 2 to 4 more minutes longer or until golden brown.  Serve with cinnamon and sugar, syrup, or your favorite topping.
